I hope you had a wonderful festive season.
I just would like to thank you for organising the most wonderful experience we
had, staying at Otter's Den and doing the Hot Air Ballooning at Hoedspruit.
We really had a relaxing, yet exciting time out there and would recommend Regent
Exclusive Safaris to any of our friends.
Plse again convey our thanks to the Uys'e from Otter's Den (my children had a
fun time with Philip) as their hospitality were absolutely outstanding and
recommendable. Also to Deon who piloted our Balloon. With his
wonderful warm personality, he really made the trip more than memorable.

Dear Wynand and Marie-Tinka
We are leaving South Africa tomorrow after nearly two and a half months with many regrets.
One of our main regrets is that we managed to spend only two nights with you in your wonderful haven.
It counts among the high-spots of our experience so far as we make our way around the world. The pristine beauty
of the paradise you have created; our truly educational walks with each of you: your warm hospitality;
the outdoor showers and the natural pool; to say nothing of the hippo grunts and the call of the African Fish Eagle;
and the sighting of a Narina Trogon; will long remain in our memory. We thank you, your family and your staff for
giving us such a wonderful experience.

I just want to thank you for a
great weekend of rafting. Kristin, Sershan and I had a fantastic time and
we'll definitely be back.
Hopefully, the river will be a bit higher the next
time.
We were most impressed with your professionalism and your
commitment to the safety and care of your clients. All in all, a very well

Dear Wynand,
Just a short note to tell you that I am now back in
Luanda after a succesful and enjoyable vacation in SA, thanks in no small
measure to our special experience at Otter's Den and the Canyon. I hope it
was obvious how much we enjoyed it.
We all thought you are running a
very professional operation - both the
lodge and the rafting - but, most
importantly, the atmosphere in both places was great.
So, on behalf of
myself and the 3 other Finns, our sincere and

it was absolute a pleasure to do the balloning
above the bush arround Hoedspruit with you last week. I really had a good
time and I hope to do it again with friends arround Christmas this

Otters Den. It was a fantastic two days, we only wish we could have
stayed longer.

Dear Wynand,
we are safely back in Germany and are regretting
it...The weather is foul, rain, some 7 to 8 degrees and it is dark. On top
of it we have to work as from tomorrow again. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay
with you and your family and the day out with Dion, Eric and "Popcorn"
Wynand. Attached please find some fotos of our stay. Please give our
regards to the guides and we hope to see you again soon.

At last I have caught up at work and can get down to
thanking you for our superb stay at Otters Den.
What an absoluely
stunning property starting with the swing bridge and hippos snorting in the
river below.
As far as I am concerned this bush experience is a must for
all clients, and a two night stay even better. Your informative walk in
the morning is so very interesting and on all our future game drives etc I
was looking out for all the things you had told us.
The boat trip up
the Blyde River was just so peaceful and I envy you living with nature like
this.
I have learnt so much on my trip about distances and road
conditions and the time it takes to travel etc., which is so essential for
our client base as they are mostly self-drive packages.

magic long-weekend with you recently. Thanks for going out of your way for us
- the balloon flight was just the cherry on the top! I hope we can come
and stay with you again sometime when the rivers are full & rafting is

Dear Wynand, Marie Tinka, Philip and Magdel
Well we are back to
normality again after the wedding! It was the honeymoon of a lifetime
and we had an excellent 5 days in Kruger. We saw the big 5 plus - plus
- plus.......but the wedding and balloon ride were definitely the highlights
of the whole trip - of course!
Everyone felt that things worked out for
the best in the end, as we really enjoyed the wedding and the focus on the
ceremony, which was so well done by James. Then we got the most out of
the balloon ride too.So it couldn't have been better.
Thank you all
very much for making our two days with you so special. We all really
appreciated your efforts, from large to small, and no detail went unnoticed,
I can assure you. The accommodation was really special,the food great,
and all the little touches like the candles, flowers and decoration on the
chairs etc were so classy. Magdel and Marie Tinka, you are excellent
decorators!
We were so thankful to be able to fly in the end, it was an
experience that, even as pilots, we'll never forget. Thanks Wynand, for
making that happen. We also really enjoyed the walk with you, and
surprised the ranger in Kruger with our excellent knowledge!
So all in
all it was a wonderful trip, and made that much more excellent by your
hospitality. Thanks again from all of us.

Bonjour Mary T, bonjour Wynand,
Out of Africa I would like to thank you
warmly for you kind hospitality on your island with Felicity.
It is a
place where everybody dreams to stay again. I hope to get the ppportunity to
visit you again with some French balloonists or other friends.
Even
shorted by our late arrival, we had with you a marvellous evening and
morning at Ottersden.
If you plan to visit France, Loire Valley and
Les Châteaux de la Loire, I shall be happy to welcome you. I am
living just south from Saumur and we quite often take off from an island in
the middle of Loire River. Landscapes and wines are marvelous here. The best
season is short but splendid from mid July to mid September.

Dear Wynand and Marié-Tinka,
We are writing to say thank you for the lovely days we spent recently at
Otters Den. We felt really at home, starting with your warm welcome. It is a
privilege to be treasured, to be right in the middle of Africa's wonderful
wilderness, sleeping with the forest choruses, and yet to have all the comforts
of civilization, with the warmness of your attention. The food was superb, by
far the best we had in our whole trip, and the meals at the veranda overlooking
the river had a nice atmosphere. Besides, the small details like the nougats at
our beds at sleeping time are the kind of small things which make a place not
just comfortable, but charming. We wanted you to know that we have very fond
memories of Otters Den, and we wish you much deserved success.
